Monitly (https://monit.ly) aggregates, normalizes and serves 27,000+ statistical datasets (23M+ time series) from official sources: Eurostat, World Bank, OECD, IMF, WHO, FAO and national statistical offices (incl. Statistics Poland — BDL and DBW). Every dataset uses one consistent structure (dimensions dim1…dim8, countries/regions, periods), so the same filters work for any indicator.

## What Monitly Does

Monitly lets analysts, journalists, researchers, marketers and developers find the right official statistic, compare countries, chart it, follow it and get notified when the source publishes new data. It is informational only (not financial or investment advice); values come from the original publishers and every dataset links to its source.

Typical questions Monitly answers: "What is the latest HICP inflation in Poland?", "Rank EU countries by unemployment", "Government debt % of GDP for the Baltic states since 2010", "Which dataset has monthly retail trade for Germany?".

Datasets are refreshed automatically from the publishers (daily/weekly sync jobs); each dataset shows `last_update`, `oldest_period` and `latest_period`.

- **Dataset** (`main`): id, dataset_code, dataset_name, description, source_name, source_url, dim1_label…dim8_label, oldest_period, latest_period, last_update, available_geo
- **Series** (`data`): one row per dimension combination (dim1_value…dim8_value, unit); columns = countries/regions, rows = periods
- **Periods**: yearly `2024`, quarterly `Q1/2024`, monthly `01/2024`
