This dataset provides data on the number of physicians by age groups and gender. Age groups include less than 35, 35-44, 45-54, 55-64, 65-74, 75+, for total, female and male physicians.
The breakdown by age and gender is provided for practising physicians. If not available, the data are reported for professionally active physicians or physicians licensed to practise.
