Tourist accommodation establishments by types

In connection with the need to ensure statistical confidentiality, starting with the year 2015 the scope of information available on the use of tourist facilities: tourists, nights spent and rented rooms, has changed. Data were grouped according to the types of objects on the basis of PKD 2007: 55.1 Hotels and similar establishments, 55.2 Holiday and other short-stay accommodation and 55.3 Camping grounds and campsites. The territorial levels of presentation have been changed: information is available for powiats, regions or subregions. Starting from data for 2016 in statistics regarding tourist accommodation establishments the methodology of data imputation was introduced for entities obligated to submit a report on KT-1 form, which refused to participate in the survey.
