Data concern entities of the national economy with 10 or more employed persons and budgetary sphere units, regardless of the number of employed persons, employed persons working on private farms in agriculture and employed persons in foundations, associations and other social organisations; according to actual workplace and kind of activity. The data do not include entities of the national economy with up to 9 employed persons, clergy and employed persons in budgetary units operating in the field of national defence and public safety. Data concerning employed persons on private farms in agriculture as of 31 December in 2002-2009 were estimated on the basis of the results of the Population and Housing Census as well as the Agricultural Census 2002. Since 2010 to 2019 employed persons on private farms in agriculture were estimated on the basis of the results of the Agricultural Census 2010, since 2020 on the basis of the results of the Agricultural Census 2020. The term "Industry and construction" is understood as the following sections: Mining and quarrying; Manufacturing; Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply; Water supply; sewerage, waste management and remediation activities and Construction. The term "Other services" is understood as the following sections: Professional, scientific and technical activities; Administrative and support service; Public administration and defence, compulsory social security; Education; Human health and social work activities; Arts, entertainment and recreation and Other service activities.
