Agricultural tractors

The census covered tractors, agricultural machinery and equipment used by the household, both owned (constituting an exclusive property of the household user) and shared (constituting a collective property of several farmers and used by more than one household). Tractors, agricultural machinery and equipment that belong to several farmers were enumerated at the farmer who was in their possession on 30 June 2010. Only such equipment was enumerated which was used by the agricultural holding to perform agricultural activity (in whole or in part) within 12 months immediately preceding the survey. The census covered tractors, agricultural machinery and equipment that were technically efficient (ready to work) or temporarily out of order, i.e. under repair or planned to be repaired. Equipment which remained out of order for a period exceeding one year or was intended for cassation (dismantling or scraping) was no enumerated in census. Data on tractors apply to double-axis tractors, wheeled and tracked.
