Geodetic and leveling area, registered land (short-term data)

Geodetic area of land: Information on the directions of use of the country's land area based on the land and building register maintained, by the Head Office of Geodesy and Cartography, aligned on a proportional basis to the geodetic area of the corresponding territorial division of the country (as of January 1). Land registration area: Information on the directions of use of the country's land area based on the land and building register (EGiB) maintained, by the Head Office of Geodesy and Cartography (as of January 1). The compensatory area (in EGiB) is the difference between the geodetic area and the registered area. This difference is due to the accuracy of calculating (mainly rounding) the areas of land plots and land uses, as well as the accuracy of calculating the area based on the outer boundaries of the territorial division unit ( voivodship, district, municipality).
