Activity rate by sex, working age and the place of residence (urban/rural) - usual residence population (residents)

Activity rate is the percentage share of the number of economically active persons in the number of population (total or in a given group). When calculating activity rate persons for whom economic activity was not determined are not included in a denominator. Obtained in a given period value of activity rate informs about the number of economically active persons (i.e. the employed or the unemployed) per any 100 persons in a given group (specified, e.g. by sex, age or place of residence). Working age - for men group of the age 18-64 years, for women - 18-59 years.
