Cypriots spent fewer nights in tourist accommodation
Residents’ nights at Cyprus’s hotels, short-stay properties and campsites were 36.81% lower than a year earlier in March, putting the country last among 36 European markets. The reversal came alongside a wider, geopolitically driven disruption to the island’s tourism trade.
