Other payables make up more of Irish pension fund liabilities
The category rose from 1.82% of Irish pension funds’ financial liabilities in 2024 to a record 5.3% in 2025, a 3.48-point increase. Ireland ranked fourth among 23 countries, although the figure does not show that pension promises became less secure.
