Reports a break in household loan data
The IMF series puts commercial bank loans to households at 264,361 million domestic currency units in 2025, compared with 1,157 million in 2024. The break is so far outside the established pattern that it should be treated as a possible reporting change, revision or one-off correction, not evidence of a lending boom.
