How to connect Monitly to Gemini
Monitly gives Gemini read-only access to official statistics (100,000+ datasets for 150+ countries from Eurostat, OECD, the World Bank, the IMF, WHO and national statistics offices). Every number comes with its source, dataset and period.

No sign-in is needed: the server is public and read-only.
Steps
- Open gemini.google.com on a computer, then Settings → Connected Apps (under Personal Intelligence if you don't see it).
- Under Custom apps choose Add a custom app.
- Paste https://monit.ly/api/mcp/public and click Next.
- In a chat type @ and pick Monitly, or just ask a question and let Gemini call it.
- Google currently limits custom apps to personal Google accounts of adults in the US, in English, with Gemini Apps Activity turned on.
- Once connected on the web, the app also works in the Gemini mobile app.

Cost and limits
Monitly's public MCP server is free and needs no account or API key. A fair-use limit of 300 requests per user per day applies.
