How to connect Monitly to Le Chat (Mistral)
Monitly gives Le Chat (Mistral) read-only access to official statistics (100,000+ datasets for 150+ countries from Eurostat, OECD, the World Bank, the IMF, WHO and national statistics offices). Every number comes with its source, dataset and period.

No sign-in is needed: the server is public and read-only.
Steps
- In Le Chat open the Connectors page and click + Add Connector.
- Switch to the Custom MCP Connector tab.
- Enter the name monitly (no spaces), paste https://monit.ly/api/mcp/public and click Connect.
- Le Chat detects the authentication method automatically.
- Enable Monitly in the chat's tools menu and ask your question.
- In organization workspaces only an admin can add custom connectors.

Cost and limits
Monitly's public MCP server is free and needs no account or API key. A fair-use limit of 300 requests per user per day applies.
